CASSIOPEIA THE WITCH
The return of the Small Press classic
by Perry Lake
After a hiatus of over twenty years, CASSIOPEIA THE WITCH is back! This new, 4-volume, series of graphic novels reprints the entire run of the original series, with considerable new and improved art.
Much beloved in its day, this series is back for a new generation of readers.
Each 200-page graphic novel goes for only TEN BUCKS!

"Before Buffy came along, Cassiopeia was a modern young woman battling monsters and struggling with romance. Perry has re-done some of the artwork for this presentation, but you still get a sense of the progression, as his earnest early efforts quickly develop into his mature style, full of nuanced characters and moody, textured art. This series was a big favorite of mine back in the day, and still holds up as one of the best things to come out of the small press/zine scene. Not for the kiddies ('Lots of sex and broken necks', as the saying goes), But everyone else should check it out."

And more to come!

The classic small-press comic is back in this four-volume series, now available for sale. If you love comic books, supernatural adventure, and gratuitous nudity, this one's for you!
As the artist has a fondness for drawing the female form, Cass spends considerable time without clothing. Featuring monsters and naked women, CASSIOPEIA THE WITCH is intended for Adults Only.

Factoid: Cassiopeia The Witch was inspired by a true event! Witches and paranormal investigators descended on a haunted house in Chico, California. They collected stories from the residents. They took measurements and photographs. They held a séance. And folks, shit went down. I, acting as a reporter for a news magazine, Off The Record, recorded it all. After a few months of incubating in my head, a variation of those events became the first of Cassie's illustrated adventures!
